Johnny Depp's ex wife, actress Amber Heard, paints a terrifying picture of life with the movie star in newly released court documents.

The Hollywood Reporter shared the newly released details from a deposition submitted by Heard, 32, during her divorce proceedings from Depp, 55, in 2016. In the document, which spans 471 pages, Heard details a life of fear with Depp and his "other personality," which she claims they both named "the monster."

Heard said that she was "petrified" of this side of Depp, which was "present when he beats me up."

The actress previously wrote about surviving abuse in an emotional opinion piece for the Washington Post, which avoided mention of Depp.

Heard wrote that she had been "harassed and sexually assaulted by the time I was of college age," but never filed complaints because she did not trust the criminal justice system to protect her.

After speaking out about surviving abuse, Heard said close friends "told me I would never again work as an actress - that I would be blacklisted."

"I write this as a woman who had to change my phone number weekly because I was getting death threats." Heard added that she wants to share her story with the public to support other women who come forward with claims of abuse.

Along with Heard's new and distressing allegations, the court document also featured testimony from her close friends, and LAPD officers who interrupted an altercation between the stars.

The actress claimed that Depp threw a phone at her head "as hard as he could" during that incident, then grabbed her by the hair while she screamed for help.

Heard's allegations were originally part of her divorce hearings, but have resurfaced because of a libel case Depp filed against the British newspaper The Sun.

Depp himself accused Heard of being "aggressive and violent" in a filing from last year.

Heard could have a chance to air her complaints in court next month, if she's called to the stand by the Sun in their dispute with Depp.

While the couple both agreed not to discuss their separation in the terms of their divorce, Depp has outspokenly denied assault allegations and even suggested that Heard was lying.

"To harm someone you love?" he told British GQ. "As a kind of bully? No, it didn't, it couldn't even sound like me."

A lawyer for Heard said the actor was "continuing his psychological abuse of Ms. Heard, who has attempted to put a very painful part of her life firmly in her past."
