If you love watermelon, then you're in luck! These Watermelon Margarita Poptails are just what you need to cool down on a hot day.
We added tequila to ours for a little boozy kick, but you can leave out the alcohol if prefer. This tipsy treat is so good it will blow your mind!
Ingredients
- 5 cups seedless watermelon
- 3/4 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 4 limes
- coarse salt
- 5 ounce Dixie cups
- Short popsicle sticks or craft spoons
Directions
Place all your ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Strain the blended ingredients in a mesh sieve to remove any pulp.

Pour the strained mixture into your Dixie cups.

Prepare your limes by slicing 3 thick slices from the middle of each lime. Insert a popsicle stick or craft spoon through the middle of each slice.

Place your limes on top of the watermelon mixture in each cup.

Freeze until solid. Sprinkle with margarita salt before serving. Enjoy!
