Zadok the Priest is a British anthem originally composed in 1727. It was written by George Frideric Handel for the coronation of King George II. You’ll Never Walk Alone

You’ll Never Walk Alone was originally a show tune released in 1945. It was composed by Richard Rogers and the lyricist for the song was Oscar Hammerstein II. However, the song is much more than a show tune now. The iconic football song is associated with Liverpool FC. They adapted their song as their anthem, playing it before every home game. The song's title now also stands as the club motto, one of the most iconic and respected in world football. It has even been adopted by some of the other clubs in world football, after seeing its popularity when used by Liverpool. These clubs include Glasgow Celtic, Borussia Dortmund, FC Twente, and many more. Due to the song being used by clubs all over the world, it is now considered one of the most iconic pieces of music in football.

Waving Flag

The 2010 World Cup was a special one to say the least. The first time the competition was held in Africa, it was certainly a tournament that was anticipated. Part of what made the build up so exciting for fans was the official anthem. Waving Flag by K'naan is now one of the most enjoyed songs in world football. It’s catchy and positive sound really captured what the 2010 World Cup was about. Although World Cup anthems don’t usually make too much of an impact, this one will be remembered for a long time.
