12 Glamorous Airbnbs Where Celebrities Have Vacationed

Kim Kardashian - Instagram / Airbnb

If you've planned a vacation in the last few years, you've probably considered staying at an Airbnb.

For anyone new to Airbnb, it lets homeowners list rooms, apartments, or even entire homes for vacationers to stay in. Have you ever thought of putting your home on Airbnb and becoming a host? My sister signed up as a host and she has been making some serious cash. If you're interested in doing the same you can sign up fast and easy here and you can practically make your vacations pay for themselves.

For frugal tourists, Airbnb is an affordable way to spend a night in another city without staying at a hotel.

But for celebrities, the app's most expensive (and luxurious) listings are a place to rest their heads in privacy (and comfort).

Check out these 12 Airbnb's that celebrities have called home for a night or two, and try not to get jealous.

Sadly, nearly all of these Airbnb's are now off the market, but let's be honest: they were out of our price range anyway!

1. Gwyneth Paltrow's French Villa

The actress rented a seven-bedroom villa in Cannes while attending the city's famous film festival, and the Airbnb featured everything that makes the south of France a perfect vacation destination.

The $40 million home features a shady pool deck and a wine cellar, which is everything you need for the perfect backyard party if you ask me.

2. Ariana Grande's Mountain Chalet

Last Christmas, you could find the pop singer at a seven-bedroom mountaintop villa near Telluride, Colorado that combined cozy interiors with beautiful natural surroundings.

Along with 360-degree views of the ski slopes, the home includes a heated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, movie theater, and even a bowling alley.

That's what we call living in style. No wonder a stay costs $10,000 a night!

3. Lady Gaga's Desert Getaway

The pop star vacationed at this $13,000-a-night mansion in Rancho Mirage, California while performing at Coachella.

She's not the only star to enjoy the desert pad, with a huge resort-style pool and gorgeous mountain views, as Drake also spent a night there.

4. Britney Spears' Malibu Love Nest

Spears spent Valentine's Day 2017 at this glamorous Mediterranean-style villa in Malibu, along with her boyfriend Sam Asghari.

The pop star was obviously impressed with her digs, calling the home "a touch of heaven" in an Instagram post about her stay.

Leave it to the Queen of Christmas to find the perfect home for the holidays.

Carey spent Christmas 2016 cuddled up in this deluxe $22 million Aspen home, courtesy of Airbnb.

The owner generously decked the halls before Carey arrived, with several full-sized Christmas trees perfect for showing off the abode on Instagram.

Thankfully, the home includes several fireplaces, because the singer's outfit looks a little chilly.

6. Kim Kardashian's New York Penthouse

Even multi-millionaire couples can be frugal (sometimes).

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West needed a place to stay in New York during his concert tour, they shacked up in a $25 million New York penthouse thanks to the Airbnb app.

While the pad is just a cozy 700-square feet, every inch is rich in style and luxurious details, including a rooftop pool and sauna.

7. Chrissy Teigen And John Legend's Country Home

Instagram's favorite family spent some time in this gorgeous Kansas home while Legend was on tour.

Highlights of their trip included quality time with baby Luna on the outdoor porch swing, but the we bet the fireplace, covered patio, and outdoor fire pit were a hit as well.

8. Prince Harry's Arctic Getaway

A cabin north of the Arctic circle doesn't sound like the vacation destination for a prince and his girlfriend.

But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cozied up in this 10-bedroom Airbnb before their engagement.

The listing is known for its stunning views of the northern lights and beautiful natural scenery.

This is one rental that's still up for grabs, but you'd better book your vacation long in advance (and expect to pay almost $500 a night).

9. Drake's Beverly Hills Estate

When you're one of the world's most successful hip hop artists, it only makes sense that you rent a crash pad with amenities most people can only dream of.

Drake's home-away-from-home in Beverly Hills, Villa Grande Bellezza, was an 11,000 square foot mansion with deluxe features including a wine bar and home theater.

Of course, with bonuses like those, it's no wonder a stay costs $10,000 a night.

10. Lady Gaga's Houston Home

This Star is Born star sure gets around.

Her stay at this $20 million Houston mansion coincided with her Super Bowl LI performance, and it looks like the perfect place to unwind after a stressful show.

Marble baths, a pool under a shady palm tree, and a home theater are just a few of the amenities.

11. Aaron Paul's Exotic Getaway

The Breaking Bad actor definitely knows how to surprise his wife Lauren.

The couple jetted off to Thailand to celebrate her 30th birthday in style at a 10-bedroom Airbnb that's more like a mini-resort.

At over $5,000 a night, the villa includes features like private cooking classes, a spa, and seaside views.

12. Jamie Foxx's "Magic" Manor

During a visit to Miami, Foxx hung his hat in this eight-bedroom mansion called the "Magical Luxury Manor."

With amenities like a guest cottage and a poolside bar, it's hard to disagree with that title. The only downside is a magical stay in the manor used to cost more than $2,000 a night.
