When Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum announced their split, people were legitimately upset. The couple, who met on set of Channing's first movie Step Up, seemed to be everything a marriage should be. They supported each other, had fun, and were great parents to their daughter Everly.
"It's all wonderful," Jenna boasted of their relationship in a past interview. "He's amazing, he's the sweetest man. We've been together seven years, married three. That's like 20 in Hollywood years. That's amazing!"
But on April 2nd, a joint statement from the Tatums revealed they were splitting.

First off, if feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it's a consequence of the lives we've chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for. We're living in an incredible moment in time, but it's also a time where truth can easily get distorted into "alternative facts" ;) So we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn't read it here then it's most certainly fiction.
We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We feel deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets or salacious events at the root of our decision -- just two best-friends [sic] realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won't be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family's privacy.

Despite announcing their split, the couple remained committed to being good parents for their daughter, and fans were hoping there was a chance for reconciliation between the two. Jenna scrubbed all evidence of Channing from her Instagram page, but the Magic Mike star chose to leave the photos of him and his ex up on social media.
But it's possible Channing is going to change his tune, now that reports of him having a new love interest have surfaced. According to Us Weekly, the 21 Jump Street star is dating pop star Jessie J.
The Grammy-nominated British singer has many chart-topping songs, like Bang Bang, Price Tag, Domino, and Flashlight. It's reported that Channing has been attending some of Jessie's concerts, including her Salt Lake City and Seattle performances.
Another fan on social media says Channing and Jessie were spotted playing mini-golf together in Salt Lake City. A source close to the couple says the whole thing is "new, casual and they're having fun together."
It's not clear when Channing and Jessie officially started seeing each other, but a source confirmed to Us Weekly it's been at least a couple of months.
As for Jenna, there's been no mention of a new love interest in her life, but she has no regrets about ending her marriage to Channing.
"It's been a journey, and it's been a transformation of myself "” my needs and wants as a woman," the talented dancer said in an interview. "I think everyone wants to hold on to what's in front of them, but when you open your mind, saying, "˜I want what's best for myself and my daughter,' you have to be OK with however that looks."
"It's OK for a relationship to change into a new form that is actually better for both people involved, and I think that's maybe what shocked everyone so much "” that it can be a positive thing. That was ultimately what happened with us."
It's nice to see that both Jenna and Channing are still living their best lives, even if that means they're doing it apart. As long as they remain united for their daughter, that's all that matters in my books.
