Nature is a cruel and beautiful thing, and it's one of the most wonderful things in the entire world. Unfortunately, a sad fact of life is that predators exist, and they hunt to survive. One unluckily Antelope found himself caught in the jaws of a crocodile as he attempted to cross a river, and things certainly weren't looking good for him. In fact, things were looking rather bleak for the frightened animal.

He'd been struggling to get to shore where he'd stand half a chance at least, but he was having quite a hard time with it! Luckily for him, a herd of hippos spotted him as he tried to escape, and came over to check out the commotion. Hippos and crocodiles are mortal enemies, and will often fight and kill each other with very little provocation. When one of the hippos decided to help, the crocodile knew it was in over it's head!

After trying to remain in hold of his dinner, the crocodile was eventually forced to back off in order to save his own life. Even once the antelope was freed, he wasn't in the clear. He'd been fighting for so long that he was completely exhausted. The hippo wasn't willing to give up on him just yet, and helped nudge him over to the shore. Once assuring himself that the antelope would be okay, the hippo slunk back into the water and to his herd.
