Jamie Foxx's Daughter Is All Grown Up And Working As A Model & Actress

Puretrend

There's almost nothing Jamie Foxx can't do. On top of being an Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe-winning actor, he is also a successful film producer, comedian, as well as a Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter.

Since 2017, Foxx, whose real name is Eric Marlon Bishop, has been the executive producer and host of the game show Beat Shazam.

Still, no amount of box-office wins and chart-topping hits could ever compare to two of his greatest achievements - his daughters, Corinne and Annalise.

While we've seen nine-year-old Annalise with her dad on the red carpet and at industry events, it's her older sister that has been stealing all the attention these days.

24-year-old Corrine first appeared alongside her father in an episode of The Jamie Foxx Show, and over the years, we've seen her regularly accompany him on the red carpet.

With a father like Foxx and a U.S. army veteran as a mom, Corinne has always been ambitious and a hard-worker.

In 2011, while still in high school, she appeared on the cover of American Cheerleader. She pursued the sport when she attended the University of Southern California to study public relations.

Corinne obtained her degree in 2016, but she wasted no time in enrolling at Howard Fine Acting Studio and the American Academy for Dramatic Arts to polish her acting skills.

But acting wasn't the only career path Corinne has been passionate about. She has always wanted to be a model, but she went through an "awkward" phase.

"I'm sure you guys can pull up very awkward photos of me," she told E! Live in 2017. "The thing is everyone has an awkward phase, but mine was televised. I went to events with braces and glasses, and you're in the middle of puberty just like... ugh. It's painful."

Luckily for her, puberty didn't hurt her chances and was eventually signed by LA Models in 2014.

Shortly after, she landed her first gig for the jewelry and accessory store Icing. She has since booked many high profile jobs with brands like Dolce and Gabbana, Sherri Hill, and Yeezy by Kanye West.

With one foot in the modeling industry, Corinne is working her way up the Hollywood ladder.

In 2016, she told Her Campus that she was ready to follow in her father's footsteps, and she was not kidding.

Corinne's acting credits include appearances in Pharrell's "Happy" music video and MTV series Sweet/Vicious. She will also be starring in the movie All-Star Weekend, which will be directed by her father and will include some big names like Robert Downey Jr. and Eva Longoria.

Last year, Foxx opened up about what it's like to work with his daughter during an interview at the LA premiere of his film Sleepless.

"My oldest daughter is so seasoned because she has been around it so long. So she just comes and does her thing," he said, adding, "It's great to be able to work with your daughters because I know that they want to be a part of this in some way. When you can work with your daughters, there's comfort when I tell them, "˜Move here, go here, do that.' "

Corinne was chosen as the 2016 Miss Golden Globe, an honor that's traditionally given to the children of Hollywood's most prominent and respected entertainers.

"I had millions of young girls watching me and I aimed to be a role model to them. In every interview, I made sure to talk about my education and how beneficial it was to me. Hopefully, some girl somewhere heard me and now wants to go to college too!"

Empowering young girls and women is something Corinne has been doing through her work as a mental health advocate, Girl Up! ambassador, as well as a business owner.

She launched an online magazine and store, Foxxtales, which shines a light on women-owned businesses.

While speaking with C magazine she revealed that she hopes her work will one day give her the chance to speak at the United Nations. She explained that her speech would tackle the importance for women to be educated.

Despite carving her own path, Corinne still supports her father as much as possible.

"She is one of the most grounded people that you can possibly meet "” and it almost takes the pressure off of the times when I've messed up," Foxx said of his daughter.

In addition to being his date to events throughout the year, she will be joining him as a DJ on the second season of Beat Shazam.

We can't wait to see Corinne in the big screen!
