There's a new member in the Duggar family, and the popular reality stars couldn't be more thrilled!
In July, John-David and Abbie Burnett decided to take the next step in their relationship, and announced their intentions on tying the knot, and now they are officially man and wife.
"It was a special moment to share together."
In their witty Instagram announcement, they captioned their sweet photo, "So, I reconsidered the whole 'bachelor "˜til the rapture' thing - a term typically used by Christians who have yet to wed.
"The proposal and the "˜yes' really solidified that we want to spend the rest of our lives together," the twosome told Us Weekly at the time. "It was a special moment to share together."
"One of the most amazing things about following Christ is being able to trust Him to direct your path and lead your life," they continued. "We are so thankful that He led us to one another."
"Now, a beautiful relationship has blossomed between the two of them."
Although John-David and Abbie had known each other for a while, it wasn't until one fateful event brought them together.
"We've known of each other for several years, but we didn't meet 'til ... " John-David said as Abbie interrupted, "John flew in for a church event here in Oklahoma where I'm from. We really got connected then."
They added they quickly fell in love during their whirlwind romance.
John-David's entire family were elated with the couple's courtship, and his parents Jim-Bob and Michelle Duggar were quick to announce their second-oldest son had finally found love.
"We are so excited to announce the courtship of John-David and Abbie! John-David brings our hearts so much joy and we've watched him faithfully pray, wait, and trust God for the right girl to come along!" they penned on the family's website in June.
"Now, a beautiful relationship has blossomed between the two of them. We can't wait to see what the Lord will do in the future."

On November 3, John-David and Abbie were married, and we can safely assume there wasn't a single dry eye in the house.
Abbie made her way down the aisle in a Renee Miller gown from Renee's Bridal, while John-David sported a dashing black suit.
Following the ceremony, their guests enjoyed a breakfast buffet in an airplane hanger.
In a joint statement, the newlyweds thanked God for bringing them together and shared they couldn't wait to start their new life together.
"We are so excited to be married! It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us," the couple said.
"Most of all we are thankful to Christ for bringing us together. This is going to be an amazing journey!"
But in a family with 19 children, John-David isn't the first Duggar to wed, and if the number of his nieces and nephews (a staggering 12) is any indication, it won't be long until he has kids himself.
