<div><p>Before<a href="https://www.shared.com/mila-kunis-pregnancy-and-divorce-rumors/" target="_blank"> Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher </a>were known as Hollywood's "It" couple, many people tend to forget that the <em>That '70s Show</em> alum was in a romantic relationship with former child star, <a href="https://www.throwbacks.com/macaulay-culkin-reddit/" target="_blank">Macaulay Culkin</a>.</p><p>The pair, who got together in 2002, were in a relationship for about eight years before they split up. While the former couple kept their relationship relatively private, Kunis is finally opening up on what went wrong, and revealed the demise of their relationship was her fault. </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p></p><div align="center" data-freestar-ad="__300x250 __300x250" id="shared_incontent_1">

And that's something that took me a long time to come out and be like, 'Yeah, you know what, I was a d"”,' and accept it and I own it now," she told Shepard.</p><p>"And it's f"”"” up what I did. It's f"”"” up what I did and it's f"”"” up how I did it. When I got to be single I said, 'I just need to figure myself out.' </div><p></p><p>When asked if she's forgiven herself for the way she treated Culkin, 37, Kunis said she has, but it took time to happen. </p><p>"You know, it's been so long like I feel like enough time has gone by," she explained. Like, she just does nice things and I feel like I'm almost like, at first I didn't know how to be treated well in that kind of way," the <em>Home Alone</em> actor said on the <em>Anna Faris is Unqualified</em> podcast. </p><p>"It was a strange, almost foreign kind of concept. </div><p></p><p>In the same interview, Kunis also discussed her mother's initial reaction to her relationship with Kutcher, 40, and admits she wasn't thrilled. </p><p>"We were driving up to Laurel Canyon, and I was like: 'Mom, I have to tell you I'm dating somebody.' And she was like: 'Oh, tell me! Who are you dating?' And I was like: 'You've got to brace yourself for this one. I'm dating Ashton Kutcher.' And she literally was like: 'Shut the f*ck up' in Russian."</p><p>"He was coming off of a divorce. He was post, post, post, way post-divorce but I think there was a lot of misconceptions about the divorce," Kunis explained. </div><p></p><p>"The amount of stress that caused my family, nobody will understand. Although my dad is always very hopeful that the pregnancies are true.
