Anyone who watches TV definitely knows who Shonda Rhimes is, and just how influential she has been over the last decade.

The creator, writer, producer and author is the genius behind beloved dramas like Grey's Anatomy and its spin-off Private Practice, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, Off the Map, and The Catch.

Rhimes has also recently signed a multi-year Netflix deal that's reportedly worth more than $100 million, making her the highest-paid showrunner on television.

The 48-year-old's net worth is estimated to be between $140 million and $400 million (she hasn't disclosed the exact figure).

Over the years, Rhimes has spent some of her fortune on some big purchases, including some luxurious properties.

In 2010, she purchased a mansion from musician Beck for $5.6 million, but eight years later, it seems like Rhimes is ready for an upgrade.

The hitmaker just put up her Hancock Park, California home for sale, but for almost twice the aforementioned price. The private half-acre property is currently listed by Ed Solorzano of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties for $9.995 million.

The 8,298-square-foot home includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, two living rooms, an office with a projector, an interior courtyard, three-car garage, a swimming pool, a pool house, and a 600-square foot entertainment lounge.

Rhimes hasn't revealed why she decided to sell the house, but it's possible that she is finally moving into a house she bought last year.

The TV exec splurged a whopping $4.6 million on a five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home in the same neighborhood, just a little over a mile from her current abode.

Rhimes also owns two other properties in the area, including a $1.66 million duplex and a 8,400-square-foot home that she bought from actress Patricia Heaton in 2014 for $8.8 million.
