Shared

If you are a fan of Halloween then you are going to love these candle holders! They are easy to make and will make your mantle piece or table look extra spooky!

Just a few steps to make the most perfectly spooky candle just in time for your Halloween party!

Materials Needed:

  • 4" foam balls
  • X-acto knife
  • Hand saw
  • Sharpies in Black, Blue, and Red
  • White acrylic paint
  • Candles

Instructions:

Start by tracing out a small circle on the foam ball. You will use this as your guide to make a flat surface for your candle holders.

Cut off the rounded edge with a small saw or your x-acto knife.

Use your 1" candle to make an impression on the other side of the foam ball.

Then use your X-acto knife to cut out a deep enough hole for your candle to fit into.

Take your black Sharpie and draw on the pupil.

Use a blue Sharpie to draw the iris around the pupil.

Use a little bit of white acrylic paint if you want to touch up the reflection in the eye.

Then add red lines with a Sharpie to give your spooky eyeball veins.

You can make another so you have a pair, or a bunch to really keep an eye on your guests!

Just be careful to watch them if you actually light them, the foam may not take well to the dripping wax, but luckily they look really awesome weather or not they get lit!
