This week, Meghan Markle gave birth to her first royal baby with Prince Harry!

The youngest royal arrived on Monday, May 6, weighing seven pounds and three ounces. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth, which happened at 5.26am. A beaming Prince Harry shared the news with the world and we could not be happier for them.

The Sussexes announced the birth of their bundle of joy in an Instagram post (which later apparently broke the record as the most-liked royal post, per Hello).

This morning they introduced their child to the world for the first time on at Windsor Castle, and are expected to reveal the baby boy's name imminently.

Baby Sussex was sleeping soundly, wrapped in a white blanket and wearing a delicate white knitted hat as he was introduced to the world:

Harry said it was "amazing" to be a parent, while Meghan said her son was "calm" and described him as a "dream"

Asked who the baby takes after, Meghan said: "We're still trying to figure that out."

Harry said: "Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks. We're basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows."

He added: "He's already got a little bit of facial hair as well."

Welcome the world little one! Any guesses as to what his name will be?
