Use Taco Seasoning and Ground Beef to Make a Dinner Everyone Will Love

There seems to be an endless supply of recipes that use pizza dough, and for good reason. They're always so easy and so delicious, why wouldn't you make them?

Come to think of it, why haven't I thought of making these Cheesy Taco Sticks before? They're super simple to make, they're delicious, and WAY less messy than a regular taco. Perfect for families with kids (or messy husbands!).

Using taco seasoning and ground beef to make these awesome sticks and you will have a meal that everyone will love!

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Brown ground beef in a skillet, mixing in the taco seasoning in. Don't add water as you usually would, just stir the seasoning until all the ground beef is fully coated.

Spread the pizza dough across your baking sheet and cut it into 10 small rectangles.

Spoon about a tablespoon into each rectangle. Place a piece of the halved cheese on top of the ground beef and roll the pizza dough closed. Make sure you pinch the seams closed.

Add your garlic powder and parsley into the melted butter and brush it along the top of the dough.

Baked for 10 to 12 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Serve with your favorite taco dips like sour cream or salsa and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tube Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 2 colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
