Walmart Issues Recall On Frozen Pizzas After Potential Listeria Contamination

A large recall has been issued by Wal-Mart, after one of their brands has announced that there is a possibility of listeria contamination.

The product is the frozen pizzas sold under Wal-Mart's Marketside brand and they estimate that about 6,700 pizzas have already been sold.

The RBR Meat Company announced that 21,220 pounds of the Marketside Extra Large Supreme Pizza with the the product code is 20547.

Eleven states are impacted by the recall: California, Colorado, Nevada, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, and Hawaii.

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service says that they discovered possible listeria contamination during a routine sampling.
