When they suffer from a debilitating disease like Alzheimer's, it makes the process so much worse. It takes a lot of courage to <a href="https://www.shared.com/her-grandson-found-the-sweetest-way-to-help-her-with-her-alzheimers/">share the painful experience of caring for someone who doesn't recognize you</a> anymore, which is why Brian Rididngs' story is so impressive. His mother Kelly Ridings is 88 now, and living in a care home in Dalton, Georgia. Brumley. <a href="https://www.shared.com/dad-who-has-alzheimers-sings-with-his-son-in-the-car-1975044135/">Music</a> is a great way to connect with Alzheimer's patients because it seems to connect with them no matter how advanced their condition is.</p><p>In the video description, Brian writes that his mom "can still play and sing better than anyone in my eyes.</p><p>"I realized while I was singing with her tonight, I had never videod us singing together, so I captured a couple of songs for posterity.
