Woman Claims She Is Engaged To A Ghost And Ready To Have Its Baby

Like a lot of women her age, Amethyst Realm has been trying to find love for a long time, but without any luck.

At one point, she was sure she found "the one" and even got engaged, but it turns out, their relationship wasn't meant to be.

Realm had been looking for love in all the wrong places, and she only came to this realization after a business trip to Australia led her to a man that is out of this world, literally.

A phantom fling

"I'd not had a phantom fling for a while and as I was away on business, starting a new relationship was the last thing on my mind," she told The Sun. "Then one day, while I was walking through the bush, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. A new lover had arrived."

The 30-year-old has since fallen deeply in love with the spirit, and the pair are now engaged.

Last December, Realm appeared on the British TV show This Morning and revealed that she has been in relationships with at least 15 paranormal entities since 2005. She even left her living fiancé for a ghost boyfriend.

Now, Realm is getting ready to tie the knot with the her non-corporeal partner in a Pagan handfasting ceremony.

"We haven't discussed the details yet," she said, "but I think it will be quite a big do."

She revealed that her ghost lover spoke to her for the first time when he proposed to her.

"There was no going down on one knee "” he doesn't have knees," she explained. "But for the first time, I heard him speak. I could actually hear his voice and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real."

She doesn't have a ring yet, but in her most recent interview with This Morning, Realm said they're "looking for one," but her fiance is "really picky."

"It's definitely real. I'm definitely awake."

Just like any modern couple, Realm and her boo have been intimate with each other, and even consummated their relationship while on the plane trip from Australia to the U.K.

But unlike your typical relationship, Realm is unable to see the ghost she's engaged too and he doesn't really have a moniker either.

"It's really difficult to explain in terms of regular Earth-bound relationships," she explained "It's a bit deeper than that. We don't have a need for conversation. It's more just about emotion and feeling connection."

A friend of hers came up with the name "Ray" for the ghost after seeing "a rare photo where he revealed himself next to me as a ray of light."

Realm also told This Morning that she would love to start a family with her ghost fiance, although she's unsure it'd be possible for them to create a "physical baby."

For those questioning their relationship and her sanity, Realm said that her love life is "similar to a normal Earth-bound relationship." She insisted that it it not a dream.

"It's definitely real. I'm definitely awake."

Amanda Teague's 300-year-old ghost hubby

Although unusual, humans supposedly having relationships with ghosts is nothing new.

Just this last February, a woman named Amanda Teague married a 300-year-old ghost named "Jack," who she believes to be an 18th century pirate that was once left at the altar and later executed for thievery.

"It was almost like falling for someone forbidden "” like a friend's husband," Teague, a mother of five, told People. "I tried to ignore it but it didn't go away."

She added, "Growing up in Ireland in my era, you were taught that if a man bedded you, he should wed you. I knew from my research that spiritual marriage was a thing, so it was more me that wanted to get married than him"”he would have been happy like most men with just sex."
