Your Pets Need This Dog Foot Protection Wax

Shared

Winter is pretty brutal on us humans, but dogs can have it a little rough too. Their poor paws have to trek through the snow, ice and salty roads and sometimes they can get a bit dry and cracked. Luckily, you can make your own Dog Foot Protection Wax to help them out!

The wax soothes dry paws and protects any further damage. Put it on the pads of their feet and they will thank you for it!

Materials:

  • 3 oz bees wax
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp calendula oil
  • 3 tbsp avocado oil
  • Small tin

Directions:

Start by adding your wax to a sauce pan with all three oils.

Heat at a medium temperature until melted and whisk so it all combines.

Pour the blended ingredients into your tin and let it cool until it hardens.

Then you just have to rub your dogs paw on the surface of the mixture and it will moisturize and protect their little paws!

This makes a great gift for the dog owners in your life too!
