Woman Marries Her 8-Year-Old Zombie Doll (Disturbing Images)

Love may come in all shapes and sizes, but I think one thing most of us can agree on is that it should only involve consenting adults. Not blankets, not pirate ghosts and certainly not zombie dolls.

If you don't want to hear about zombie dolls then this isn't a love story you want to read.

A 21-year-old Massachusetts woman married a stuffed doll that she first purchased when she was 13. She says three years later she started developing a romantic attachment to it.

Felicity Kadlec says her doll is a female named Kelly and they dated for four years before the "wedding".

Kadlec invited her closest friends - and eight other dolls - to the ceremony that included a wedding dress, dancing and, of course, wedding pictures.

The wedding won't be legally recognized, but the two cemented their love in a different fashion: matching tattoos.

Kadlec purchased Kelly from a "creepy doll" website and the site clearly outdid itself. With fake blood and grisly teeth, Kelly is, frankly, horrifying.

The image below may be disturbing to some readers, but it's a manufactured doll and not something more sinister.

This truly is more the stuff of nightmares rather than wedding dreams.

Oddly enough, this might not be the weirdest marriage to have made headlines.

In 2018, Amanda Teague from Northern Ireland married a 300-year-old pirate ghost named Jack. Sadly the spiritual union didn't last long.

In what might be a lesson for Kadlec, the Irish mother of five said:

"I feel it's time to let everyone know that my marriage is over. I will explain all in due course but for now all I want to say is be very careful when dabbling in spirituality, it's not something to mess with."

A zombie doll might not qualify as spirituality, but I would say it qualifies as something not to mess with.
