Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell is one proud dad!

Brian's only child, Baylee Thomas Wylee, has inherited his musical chops, and is on the way to becoming the next Littrell with chart-topping hits.

The 16-year-old is officially following in his dad's footsteps with the release of his debut single "Don't knock It," marking the start of his country music career.

"It really felt right," Baylee told People. "My mom, dad and I were just talking about it one night and they said they thought now was the perfect time to start. We chose November, the month of my birthday, to release the first single."

The teen recently had the chance to sing the catchy tune for his friends and family, including his father's cousin and bandmate Kevin Richardson.

He surprised partygoers by performing the tune at his Sweet 16 bash organized by his mother, model and actress Leighanne Wallace.

Baylee, who previously appeared in the Broadway musical Disaster!, admitted to the outlet that he was nervous because "when it comes to family, it's a completely different energy."

Still, he was able to get on stage and deliver a high-energy performance while dressed to the nines in a burgundy tux jacket and a cowboy hat.

The twangy song is inspired by the award-winning country group Florida Georgia Line's discography, specifically their collaboration with the Backstreet Boys.

"You can't relate to any other song like you can to a country song, and that's why I bonded with it so much and that's why it's my favorite genre," Baylee said about his choice to pursue a career in country music. "If I was ever going through a breakup or hard time, I always listened to country music "” it's Luke Combs or something super country that tells a story."

The teen, who is also a spitting image of his father, is over the moon to be "living out his dreams," and the best part is that he has the unwavering support of his parents.

"My dad has always been my champion, so he's always told me to just do what I want to do and follow my dreams, and to do my best and not overthink it," Baylee said. "It's really just taken so much pressure off."
