Burt Reynolds Makes Rare Public Appearance And People Are Worried About His Health

Burt Reynolds has had an incredible career in Hollywood.

From Deliverance, to Boogie Nights, to Smokey and the Bandit, to starring opposite Dolly Parton in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, Burt Reynolds gave us 60 years of entertainment.

Recently, Reynolds has been open about his health struggles, having to undergo quintuple bypass surgery in 2010. At 81 years of age, the actor rarely makes public appearances anymore. However, Reynolds was at the premiere of his movie "Dog Years" in New York.

To say he looks different is an understatement.

Reynolds' film is about an aging movie star who realizes his best days are behind him. The parallels weren't unnoticed by Reynolds.

"I guess I'm doing all right. I think because it's a hell of a turnout," Reynolds said. "Great to see Mr. De Niro, who I love, and ... you know, all the people that I know. It's very sweet."

Fans who saw the pictures are concerned about Burt Reynolds' health with him looking so frail. He even needed a chair on the red carpet so he could sit while answering questions.

But hey, if I can be out on a red carpet at age 81 then I'll consider that a win!
