'Dancing With The Stars' Judges And Fans Outraged After Latest Elimination

ABC

Every week, people all across America watch Dancing With The Stars and cheer on their favorite celebrities as they learn new and exciting dances designed to keep us entertained.

We all pick favorites early on, and a lot of us make sure to vote for them every week in hopes that they will end up in the finals and get a chance to win that big Mirrorball trophy.

This year, the competition has been more fierce than ever. Next week will mark the end of the 27th season, and this week's semi-final elimination has been perhaps the most controversial ever.

Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House) and his dance partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated even though they received to perfect scores of 30 in the night.

This isn't the first time the couple managed to get two perfect scores either. They have accomplished this twice before.

The pair's dances earned them praise from the judges, with Len saying "That I will always remember," and Bruno calling it "the best I have ever seen."

Fans were absolutely stunned by the pair's performance, and many were calling these dances the best they had ever seen in the entire history of the show.

Yet somehow, the pair was sent home in a double elimination. "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile (The Bachelorette) and his partner Jenna Johnson were also eliminated, but it's Di Pace that is causing all the fans to freak out.

Fans are tweeting about the elimination and they sure do have a lot of feelings about it. Some have even called him "the best male to ever do this show."

Others are citing the fact that it's supposed to be about the dancing and not the fanbase.

And some are even saying that they will stop watching the show because of this elimination.

Some fans are so upset they are calling for a recount on the votes.

Even the judges seemed stunned by the elimination, with Len saying "there is no justice here," but Di Pace was as gracious as always.

"I just love dancing so much, and at least I got to do it in front of millions of people with this beautiful girl [Cheryl Burke]. We got to put on amazing numbers and that in itself is incredible. This is a dance show and we got to dance our socks off."

As positive as he is being over the elimination, maybe this will cause the show to reformat how the scores are calculated, maybe giving more weight to the judges scores.

Continuing on to the finals are:

  • Milo Manheim with partner Witney Carson
  • Evanna Lynch with partner Keo Motsepe
  • Bobby Bones with partner Sharna Burgess
  • Alexis Ren with partner Alan Bersten
