The video we're about to show you is just 30 seconds long, but it packs a whole lot of emotion into that short time, and people around the world can't stop sharing it.

It begins at a rock concert in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where 19-year-old Karri Carberry went the extra mile for her hearing impaired dad, Darrin.

Karri, who calls herself a "daddy's girl," spent the entire Three Days Grace show signing the band's lyrics to Darrin. After another concertgoer taped the sweet moment on their phone, it started spreading far and wide on the internet.

At last night's concert, we witnessed something absolutely beautiful. Keep In mind this was a rock concert (Three Days Grace in Edmonton). We saw this girl and a man who seemed to require a lot of dancing room, irritating at first until we realized what was happening. Her father is deaf/hearing imparied(?), she was signing the lyrics to him. We couldn't care less about what was happening on stage, watching them was absolutely mesmerizing. They were both very sweet and her father was very proud of his daughter. So here's one of the songs, sorry just a crappy snippet of what happened.

Karri says she woke up to "a bunch of text messages from friends" the morning after the concert,  as her video quickly racked up more than 17 million views.

In an interview with Global News, she revealed that Darrin can hear some sound with the help of a hearing aid, and can listen to music through vibrations. But at the noisy concert, the band's lyrics were lost in their music.

"Unless he was close up and could lip-read but - it's not really an option. So I would sign the lyrics instead," Karri said.

While viewers around the world were touched by her act of kindness, Karri shared that her dad appreciated the gesture just as much.

"Every song that I would sign, he would hug me," she said.

"After, he was telling me how grateful he was for that and how much better the experience was for him because of that."

"It was absolutely beautiful to see my daughter signing in front of me," he told CBC. "I was blown away," Darrin told CBC. "I was blown away."

The father-daughter duo say they both love the band, so sharing the concert like this made it extra special for both of them.

And after their video attracted so much attention, Three Days Grace even shared it with the caption, "This is amazing!"

While sharing the concert with her dad through sign language came naturally to Karri, she said the overwhelmingly positive reaction brought "tears of joy" to her eyes.

"To see something like this has probably made a lot of people think differently, think better about sign language, and what deaf people go through," Darrin said.

This was the first concert Karri and Darrin enjoyed together, but it probably won't be their last.

"We talked about it after and we had a great time," she said. "I would definitely do it again and I know he would too."
