You can find the flower pots and saucers to make this craft at any dollar store, home improvement or garden store near you, or if you already have some at home feel free to re-purpose for this project.
Fill with your favorite Halloween candy so you can grab a sweet treat whenever you like. You can also make them for different holidays by filling them with seasonal candy and decorating them with Christmas Santas, Valentine's Day hearts or St. Patrick's Day shamrocks. How you customize them is totally up to you!
The best part about making things yourself, is that you can make it look however you like or work with the materials you have on hand.
Instead of wooden knobs, you can also add fun plastic figurines to the top of your candy machine. Just make sure to paint them the same color as the lid and use hot glue to secure them in place.
You can also add stickers or make cut-outs that you can use to decorate your candy machine. Cats, ghosts, pumpkins, bats or spiders would all work perfectly for Halloween.
