Family Credits Power of God's Love For Their Daughter's Miraculous Recovery

It's every parent's worst nightmare.

Matt and Kristin Loboda were on vacation on Arizona with their 4 kids, when they noticed their youngest, 19-month-old Joy, was missing.

"In my heart, I knew something was terribly wrong. So, I ran down to the Koi pond on the property. I ran around it four times looking between the shadows and fish for Joy. Momentarily I was relieved. But, [then] I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to run to the pool," Matt said.

The worried father took one look in the pool and his heart stopped. There was his baby girl, floating lifeless in the water. Matt dove into the pool and pulled Joy from the water and immediately began performing CPR while another family member called 911.

"As I breathed into Joy, I prayed that my breath would be the breath of God into her," says Matt. "In between breaths I begged for the Ruha of God to enter her. Her lips were blue, and her beautiful blue eyes were wide open. I could see her pupils shrinking at an alarming rate. Then I started to pray in between breathes in the words of Jesus, "˜Talitha Koum,' which means "˜Little girl, I say to you, arise.' I knew we needed a miracle because I could actually feel her slipping away."

<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o.jpg" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_550px.jpg 550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_650px.jpg 650w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_750px.jpg 750w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_850px.jpg 850w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_950px.jpg 950w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1050px.jpg 1050w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1150px.jpg 1150w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1250px.jpg 1250w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1350px.jpg 1350w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1450px.jpg 1450w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1550px.jpg 1550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/967185_10152835882175089_1047167776_o_GH_content_1630px.jpg 1630w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
The Loboda Family, 2013Facebook

When paramedics and police arrived, they weren't optimistic.

"I scooped Joy up and ran her out to the front gate, giving her compressions and a couple of breaths as we ran out to meet Fire Paramedics who were almost on the scene," said Sergeant Bryany, a 19 year veteran on the force. "Fire immediately took over and got to work on Joy's tiny, cold, blue, lifeless body. My heart was broken. I was convinced she had passed."

Joy was rushed to the emergency room where the prognosis was grim, but she finally had a heartbeat. The toddler was placed in a medically induced coma and a week later, she was breathing on her own.

<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/15826604_10158138026745089_584918567249782674_n.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
Facebook

"She's in my arms, reached for my face, and said, "˜Mamma.'
