Matt LeBlanc Explains Why There Will Never Be A Friends Reunion

Other than Seinfeld, Friends is perhaps the most popular and beloved sitcom from the 1990's. Many online have expressed their hope for the cast to reunite. I don't think the storyline would matter; just seeing Rachel, Ross, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Phoebe back  together would make so many happy.

But not all the show's stars are keen on bringing the show back 20 years in the future. Who is this actor? Matt Leblanc. Leblanc aka Joey, told Metro.co.uk a reunion would be an epic fail because the characters problems wouldn't be relevant now as they were then. They are too old now too.

Le Blanc spoke to Brisbane radio station 97.3FM, saying "I don't think  anybody wants to see Joey at his colonoscopy!" But, he totally understands why fans want to see their loved characters back.

He continued,, "I understand that people really want to see that reunion.  But the show was about a finite period in these six characters lives, between 20 and 30".

He made  another good point. He told the radio station, "I think everyone's imagination of what they (the characters) are doing is better. It's not any one person. I think it's better to  just leave it."

LeBlanc presents BBC Two's Top Gear. He noted, "I think it's almost a case of, like, the  book is better than the movie."

He's not the only cast member reluctant to reunite. He told the radio station, "It's not any one person. I think it's better to just leave it".

I agree. Some things are meant to be left where they lie.

In an interview with ITV, Jennifer Aniston was also asked about a reunion. "I don't know what we would do? I  think that period of time was sort of nostalgic, you know, there's something about time"”and I  think that's why people have such an affection for it..."
