Kelly Clarkson Gave A Bride And Groom A Surprise They'll Never Forget

Most bride and grooms have every detail of their wedding day planned to a T so that the day flows as smoothly as possible.

However, it doesn't always go according to plan, and some unexpected things happen.

Sometimes these surprises can ruin the day (rain during an outdoor ceremony), but other times it can create a memory that the newlyweds will never forget.

One couple recently got the surprise of a lifetime when they took to the dance floor for their first dance.

The beautiful bride Stacy's sister arranged for singer Kelly Clarkson to sing one of her most poignant hits at the reception and neither the bride, groom nor their guests knew about the plan.

Stacy and her groom were clearly shocked and emotional when Kelly stepped on stage to sing "Piece by Piece," accompanied by a live band.

"I can't even stop crying," Stacy tells her new husband, who informed her that he wasn't the one who set the performance up.

Kelly, who wrote the personal song about her husband Brandon Blackstock being the man that her father never was, wasn't able to hold back tears either. "It's hard to sing at a wedding!" she admitted, while the guests cheered her on.

"They told me that you related to the song and I thought it might be a cool moment that you found somebody better than maybe what we were shown," the American Idol winner told the couple at the end of the song. "I'm so happy for you. I hope that this didn't wreck your day. When they said it was a surprise, I freaked out!"

After the performance, the ever so humble Kelly gave the couple a hug, complimented Stacy's bridal look and congratulated the happy couple

"Thank you so much, you made my day," Stacy told The Voice coach.

Every time we think we couldn't love Kelly more, she goes and does something that just makes her even more lovable.

Her relationship with her fans has also made us get a tad bit more excited about her potential syndicated daytime talk show.

The "Because of You" singer is reportedly in the talks to host a show that would debut in the fall of 2019. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she is already filming a pilot with NBCUniversal Television Distribution but the details of the show are being kept under wraps.

While we wait for confirmation from Kelly and NBC, we at least have the upcoming season of The Voice to hold us over.
