Kourtney Kardashian Mom-Shamed Over 3-Year-Old Son's Hairstyle

As the daughter of a famous lawyer and a socialite, Kourtney Kardashian has spent the majority of her life in the spotlight.

She understands the pressure, scrutiny, and lack of privacy that comes with being a celebrity, and that's exactly why she has always been hesitant about letting her children appear on the family's reality show or even on social media.

But like many parents these days, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star can't resist showing off her three adorable kids whenever the opportunity presents itself.

The doting mom often posts photographs of herself with Mason, 8, Penelope, 6, and three-year-old Reign Disick, but they aren't always well received by people on the internet.

This week, the oldest of the Kar-Jenner siblings once again became a victim of some mom-shaming after she posted a photo of herself and her youngest son on Instagram.

Captioned, "Christmas Shopping," the photo shows Kourtney sitting on a deck chaise with a MacBook while Reign, who appears to have just finished a swim, stands beside her.

First, comments pointed out that the boy seems like he's cold, and is being neglected by his "narcissistic" mother.

"U Christmas shopping while ur kid is freezing from the poool wowwwww talk about narcissistic," wrote one user. "I love how at this point kourtney is just posting photos of her neglecting her kids," chimed in another.

While some trolls were busy calling Kourtney out for not paying attention to her son, others jumped at the chance to remind the mom that her son's hair is too long, and should be chopped off.

Many simply asked Kourtney to "please cut his hair," while others wrote that Reign can be confused for a girl for having long locks.

"Please cut that boys hair. U do on mason I don't get it. Sorry u didn't have another girl but let him be a 👦" they commented. Another added, "Cut his hair. So rediculous [sic]," wrote one troll. "And don't state that he wants it that long. Dear god, he is a child, he does not know any better. You did the same with Mason. What is your point?"

Thankfully, there were some mature Instagram users who were able to come to Reign and Kourtney's defense, arguing that it is never okay to comment about the way a child looks.

"Comments regarding innocent children are so unnecessary," wrote one user. "He's a little boy for goodness sake...long hair, short hair, no hair...does it really matter?"

As for the comments about confusion over his gender, some fans pointed out that there are plenty of male celebrities, like Jared Leto, who have long hair and nobody has confused them for women.

"All these people out here tryna say they confuse Reign for a girl simply cos he has long hair," the user wrote. "Oh yeah, I mistake Harry Styles and Jared Leto for women all the time smdh get a life! He looks fabulous, the same as the rest of the family."

As usual, Kourtney isn't letting comments about her parenting choices affect her, so it's very likely that she won't be responding to the criticism anytime soon.
