In what was the worst kept secret in Hollywood for nine months, confirmation of Kylie Jenner's pregnancy has finally happened...because she literally gave birth.
If you remember, Kylie was reported pregnant in September 2017 with her boyfriend, Travis Scott. The 20 year old, who made $41 million last year, has kept her pregnancy a secret, never confirming or denying the rumors.
The father is Jenner's boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott. The two have been dating since April, after Kylie's split with long-time boyfriend, rapper Tyga.
"He was so excited he couldn't keep it in," says an insider. "He's been so affectionate and protective of Kylie since they found out. He can't wait to be a dad."
Neither Kylie nor Travis commented as the stories started swirling, which only made people more curious.
Speculation grew when Kylie was noticeably absent from both the Kardashian Christmas party and the family Christmas photo. However, her sister Khloe revealed that Kylie really was at the event.
"Merry Christmas! People think you weren't there last night," Khloé said to Kylie in one Snapchat video as the younger sister replied: "I was."
It seemed like Kylie could finally be inching closer to a public return, however privacy breaches in her own home forced Kylie to stay cooped up, with everyone wanting to get the first pictures of the pregnant starlet.
"I really feel bad for Kylie because there's always somebody that's trying to exploit a certain situation," Kris said. "To have somebody in her own home trying to snap pictures they shouldn't be snapping is really, really stressful. You want to be able to trust the people that you're surrounded by, but we have to really be on alert at all time, and that's extremely upsetting when you feel like you can't be in your own bedroom or bathroom."
Many people took this as a confirmation of the pregnancy. Everything about Kylie's rumored pregnancy has been kept under wraps, with no photos of her surfacing since the announcement. It's been very clear to everyone who is following along that Kylie wanted to keep things to herself.
But then, she had a massive crib delivered (and assembled) to her home, which was another piece of evidence that confirmed what most of us already knew.
Now, the youngest Kar-Jenner finally put all the speculation to rest when she posted on her Instagram page today.
Kylie announced that not only was she pregnant, but she also gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She acknowledged that while people probably expected her to flaunt her first pregnancy, she wanted to stay "stress-free and healthy."
"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it."
Kylie revealed that she gave birth on February 1st, and TMZ is reporting it was at Cedars-Sinai hospital, the same place her sisters have given birth.
The social media star also posted a video on her Instagram, which gave a glimpse into her last nine months away from the spotlight.
It's interesting that Kylie chose to keep her pregnancy under wraps, even though she has every right to do so. With her sisters Kim and Khloe also welcoming babies around the same time, there was a lot of opportunity for public appearances and bonding sessions that could bring the family money. However, it's refreshing to see that the family can understand when things should be private, such as Kylie's first pregnancy at such a young age.
Kylie has not yet revealed the name of her daughter, but it's sure to follow in her family's unique footsteps.
