Japan tends to come up with some of the most inventive and innovative food items that you would have never thought of in a million years.
The newest trend coming from Japan is another coffee-style item. There are already "chewable" coffee bites, but now coffee has been turned into a spread.
The website is in Japanese so it's a bit hard to figure out what it says, but apparently it is called "Snow Covered Coffee Soft" and according to the picture it goes on bread.
What a time saver! Now you don't have to drink coffee AND eat your toast, you can do it all at once!
The product comes from the same company that makes the Snow Brand Milk Products. They have a a bunch of different flavors of milk, including coffee flavor.
The spread is the consistency of peanut butter and can be used on fruits, crackers, bagels, toast or even in smoothies. The concept is interesting really, I wonder how long before it makes it across the ocean?
Would you try this coffee spread?
