When a nurse handed me a cold diaper after I gave birth to my daughter, I was perplexed. As it turns out newborn diapers aren't just for babies, they're for moms too! This diaper had been frozen and now served as a great ice pack to relieve the pain that my little girl left behind on her way out.
Every mom needs to try this after giving birth because it's simple, since you now have copious amounts of diapers on hand.
To make your own is easy! Grab a clean diaper and fill it was 50-50 combination of rubbing alcohol and water. The alcohol will keep the water gel-like in consistency after the diaper freezes. Not only will this freezer pack be easy to adjust, but it won't leak because diapers are meant to hold liquid in!
The picture of postpartum is often different than what people share. Amanda Bacon shared this photo of motherhood uncensored, mesh panties and all.
"Nothing says welcome to motherhood like an adorable squishy baby and a giant mom diaper," Bacon writes in her post.
