<div><p>Former MTV reality star Clay Adler has passed away at the age of 27. </p><p>Adler who was best known for his appearance on Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County" died of an apparent suicide reported <a href="http://www.fox25boston.com/news/trending-now/clay-adler-former-mtv-reality-star-dead-at-27/511736536">TMZ</a>. </p><p>Law enforcement told media that Adler and his friends were on a shooting trip in the California desert on March 25 and in the midst of firing, he intentionally shot himself in the head. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time."</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Adler also had minor roles in movies like Make It or Break It and his stint in Hollywood led to his friendship with celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence.
