Bailey Bealefeld who is an expectant mother recently came to realize that no one would be able to make it to her baby shower aside from her best friend of ten years. When she found out that no one else would be there for her special day before her baby arrived, she was understandably disappointed and did not expect much else to come of it. However, Bailey didn't know that she was a soon to be mother that was in for the surprise of a lifetime.

My Fox Atlanta said that Bailey's best friend of over a decade took things into her own hands. On July 9th she went to buy something off of the expectant mother's Walmart baby registry and came to find that not another single item had been bought yet. She decided to do something about that herself to ensure that her best friend had a baby shower that she deserved. She hired a few Reddit users that would help make sure that the baby shower would happen on a day that Bailey would remember forever.

The best friend's father-in-law took to Reddit and posted on the Random Kindness section on behalf of his daughter-in-law and the soon to be mother:

"(I'm posting this for my daughter-in-law who doesn't Reddit) My best friend of more than 10 years is pregnant with a baby girl and her baby shower is this weekend. I just found out that no one is planning on coming except for me.

I went to her registry on Walmart today and it has 0 items purchased so far. She's obviously upset that no one RSVP'd for her baby shower and because I'm the only one attending and I was hoping Reddit would be able to help cheer her up.

Her registry items range from $0.97 bottles all the way up to a $27 Nursery monitor. I know a few random acts of kindness would really make her day this Sunday.

(After hearing this, my wife and I are going to attend as well to cheer her up. I don't know her super well and we aren't rich, but I'll be putting $150 towards whatever is left on her registry Saturday night.)"

The gentleman who called for help from the people on Reddit woke up on the day of the shower to find his driveway filled to the brim with packages and was immediately overwhelmed with the kindness that people showered out for the expectant mother.

Ten people were able to show up to the shower and honor Bailey and her coming baby, but everyone was waiting excitedly to see the mother to be's reaction towards all the gifts that strangers showered her with. Bailey and her mother were completely floored and taken completely by surprise when her best friend and family pulled up to her house with a car that was overflowing with gifts for the coming little princess.

Bailey bounced up and down and cried with each gift as it was open, whether it was toys, diapers, or beautiful baby clothes. She was torn between smiling and crying from overwhelming joy and gratitude. At the end of the day Bailey was able to walk away saying she had never felt so good, so blessed in her entire life. The mommy was left in utter disbelief over the outpouring of love, generosity, and kindness shown to her by total strangers. It was a surprise of a lifetime and will leave her with a sense of gratitude and overwhelming love as the day of her baby girl's birth arrives.
