Reba McEntire Steps Out With New Boyfriend At The Grammys

In 2015, country music superstar Reba McEntire had the shock of her life when her husband, Narvel Blackstock, filed for divorce after 26 years of marriage.

The couple's family members, including their daughter-in-law, Kelly Clarkson, tried to keep them together, but Narvel had already made up his mind.

About a year after the surprising announcement, Reba admitted that if it were up to her, she would still be married.

"The divorce was not my idea. I didn't want it in any shape, form or fashion," the singer/actress told CMT a few years ago. "So it was really hard to make the adjustment when someone's not happy. I just want everybody to be happy in their lives, because our lives are too short to be miserable."

However, despite the pain, the 62-year-old entertainer came to accept that this was all part of God's plan.

"I have a long list of so many questions for God. Why did this happen? And how did you allow this?" she revealed in an interview. "I can never forget some of what [Narvel] did. But going on with life is what's really important."

Reba's focus on faith inspired her next venture: Gospel music. She released her album "Sing it Now: Songs of Faith & Hope" in February 2017, and it earned her a Grammy nomination in the Best Roots Gospel Album category.

The country queen won the trophy at the 60th Grammy Awards ceremony, which took place on January 28, but there was something else about her that caught everyone's attention: she looked happier than ever beside her new boyfriend.

Nearly three years after getting her heart broken, Reba's moved on and she finally stepped out with him for the world to see.

On New Year's Eve, Reba's friend, Ronnie Dunn, confirmed that the singer was dating a man named Anthony "Skeeter" Lasuzzo.

Fans of the country singer had suspected she was in a new relationship after she recently shared photos of her and Skeeter on Instagram.

Neither Reba nor Skeeter commented on the rumors, but they officially confirmed their relationship at this year's Grammy Awards in New York City.

The pair walked the red carpet together, posed for photographs, and even stopped for an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

They talked about how much they've been enjoying each other's company over the last couple of months.

"We've been having fun," Reba told Entertainment Tonight. Skeeter added, "We've been to three plays here in New York, just enjoying it tremendously. I'm doing great. I'm just following her and enjoying the night with her."

The Boot

A source close to the new couple told Closer Weekly that Reba is happy to have found love again after being single for a while.

"Reba honestly never thought she'd be back on the market, dating again," the source revealed. "But she's more comfortable in her own skin than ever and open to the possibility of falling in love. She knew that when the time was right, the right person would enter her life."

Unlike her relationship with Narvel, who was also her manager, the insider said that this new "relationship is one of companionship, not shop talk."

"She was ready to oversee her own career and she feels she mixed business with pleasure long enough." Apparently, she's now ready to "let it all hang out and just show her true colors."

We're so glad to see Reba find happiness again!
