<div><p>Little Rhea the lonely lovebird contracted Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease, a virus that causes all of her feathers to fall out. Sadly, she cannot be around any other birds and there is no treatment or cure for the disease.</p><p>Thankfully, she was rescued by Back Bay Veterinary Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts, in July and adopted by Isabella Eisenmann.</p><p>Eisenmann says that she is amazed by little Rhea's bubbly attitude and happiness for life. </p><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2266948619-3.jpg" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2266948619-3_GH_content_550px.jpg 550w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Since she started posting photos on Rhea's Instagram account, she's received plenty of positive feedback from over 256,000 followers!
