One of a cat's favorite things to do is to...do absolutely nothing. Scruffles is no exception. The chubby kitty has become famous for his motto: activity is overrated.
His owner created an Instagram account for the hefty feline, and so far it has over 43.2k followers! But what's Scruffles' greatest achievement? His gaggle of hen fans. The chickens gather every day by the screen door to watch him do what he does best.
No matter where he goes, there always seems to be part of the paparazzi hanging over his head.
Sometimes he even gives them a bit of a show...
But the chickens just don't wait outside - they also like to come indoors and spend time with their friendly fat feline. Truly, the hens and Scruffles are the best of friends.
Scruffles' owner decided to get a litter of chicks a while ago, and rather than attack the newborns, the cat was their best babysitter.
When the chicks grew up, they congregated at the window to watch Scruffles lounge in the sunshine.
They even like to stand guard when he's sleeping.
Some days, the tables are turned and Scruffles decides to watch THEM for a while.
