Kids can sometimes take things a little too literally, and that's okay!

It's up to us as parents/educators/people to make sure they learn through life experiences.

For this little boy, he's trying to successfully hit a ball off a stand.

His dad is behind him, being super patient and supportive with this little guy, telling him to keep his eye on the ball.

The boy misses the ball a few times, and the phrase is repeated. "Keep your eye on the ball!"

Then, the little tike does what he believes everyone has been asking him to do this whole time...literally keep his eye on the ball!

How stinkin' cute is that!? This little guy is just trying to do what he's told.

The best part about this video is how supportive and caring his dad is! How many times do you see parents get frustrated when their kids don't know what is asked of them, or don't understand what they've been told? Too many.
