Normally people think Hollywood parties are glamorous and extravagant, but apparently even the fanciest parties can turn into a dramatic event in a second.

This weekend, there was a big Hollywood fundraiser for the Motion Picture Television Fund called the "Evening Before The Emmy" party. At the event on Sunday night, it seems as though two stars got themselves into an altercation.

Actor Tom Arnold and producer Mark Burnett have been arguing for months, but now their feud has gone to the next level.

For months, Arnold has been asking that Burnett release the so-called "outtakes" from Celebrity Apprentice, one of the shows Burnett produces, to show all of the alleged racial slurs and other disturbing comments made by Donald Trump.

Trump was the host of the show for several seasons, and Arnold claims that there is a huge collection of the President making offensive comments, which Trump denies exist.

The two have been fighting for a while now, but at the party this weekend, they finally got into a physical fight.

It's not confirmed who started the fight, but Arnold tweeted a message saying, "Mark Burnett just went apes**t & chocked me at this huge Emmy part then he ran away with his torn pink shirt & missing gold chain. I'm waiting for LAPD."

However, about an hour and a half later, Roma Downey, Burnett's wife, tweeted a picture of a bruise on her hand and said, "Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom? Please stop."

The show she is referring to is Arnold's new show called The Hunt For The Trump Tapes where he is actually trying to get access to those Celebrity Apprentice tapes so he can reveal the truth.

Burnett has claimed that he doesn't have the authority to release them because MGM owns his production company.

After the altercation, Burnett fled the scene with his wife, while Arnold stayed at the party to wait for the cops. Patton Oswalt shared a picture saying, "He's okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel."

Arnold saw the tweet from Downey, and revealed that he would be taking legal action against them. "Bullsh*t. You lie, your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I'm filing police report & suing you for defamation."

His fans have been quick to come to his defense, with someone going as far as analyzing the grammatical implications of Downey's tweet. The user pointed out a few psychological tricks that can be used to point out lies.

"She dropped her pronoun, which in discourse analysis is when someone is psychologically unable to link the action to the pronoun." She continues by saying her word choice shows the possible intent behind Arnold's actions may not have been as aggressive as the bruising would indicate.

"You use a clear verb 'attacked,' compared to her 'tried to ambush.' What does 'ambush' mean? If you attempted to talk to him, she could classify that as an ambush."

The other thing people are questioning is whether or not Downey's bruise is from Arnold, from her own husband, or even from a different incident as one person pointed out it doesn't look newly bruised.

Arnold is ready to keep fighting for the truth, as he said before, "I'm going to do this until he resigns. He is a crazy person. He is putting this country on the precipice of war right now. For some reason, I am in a position to do something, and it is working. And I am going to do this until that guy resigns and the world will be safer. It's going to happen."

Whether or not Arnold actually is right about the tapes, the fact is there shouldn't have been a physical altercation over them.

Do you think it was Arnold who started the fight, or did Burnett attack him first?
