The duo pulled over and immediately rescued the puppies from the briar patch. </p><p>Once all the puppies were in the car, Tek made sure to sit with them and make them feel safe for the entire ride back to the station. </p><div><figure><a href="https://www.thedodo.com/k9-officer-rescues-puppies-2314535298.html" target="_blank"><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/91ad51dcc307961d22cba7742b839ded55beef9c201fde327313e3346150c605-3.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></a><figcaption class="op-vertical-center"><cite><a href="https://www.thedodo.com/k9-officer-rescues-puppies-2314535298.html" target="_blank">The Dodo</a></cite></figcaption></figure></div><p>"[Ennis] knew no one was coming for them, so he and his K-9, Tek, brought the puppies to Headquarters where they were all promptly adopted," said the Georgia Department of Public Safety. "A Trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day."</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>According to a Facebook post by the Georgia Department of Public Safety, all the puppies were adopted immediately by members of the staff. </p><div><amp-facebook data-href="https://www.facebook.com/gadepartmentofpublicsafety/posts/1864555097158093" layout="responsive" height="600" width="640"></amp-facebook></div><p>While the person who abandoned these puppies will probably never be found, at least the little guys are safe and sound with loving homes!</p><p></p><p></p></div>
