Doctor's Policy About Vaccinations Has People Cheering

Vaccinations have been a hot-button topic for as long as I can remember. Believe it or not, there was a time when people actually believed modern medicine worked...shocking right? But now, it seems that everyone and their cousin is a registered medical professional who knows exactly what each vaccine can do to a child.

According to these at-home doctors, vaccines can cause autism, cancer, and basically any other disease under the sun. But all evidence points to not vaccinating your kids actually being pretty dangerous.

"The anti-vaccination movement persists, in part, because its spokespeople appeal to emotions "” to fear "” better than the current government campaign," Jason Chung, M.Sc., Esq. wrote for CBC News. "As a result, parents end up fearing "complications" from vaccines "” debunked associations with autism or mercury poisoning "”  instead of the things they should actually be worried about: their children succumbing to debilitating and deadly diseases. Diseases that are preventable."

One doctor has clearly had enough of parents who refuse to vaccinate their kids, and posted a note on the office door about it. The note was posted to the website Imgur, and it's gained a lot of attention.

Our office will no longer be seeing patients that do not vaccinate their children. We will vaccinate those who would like to begin the process, however failure to comply with this policy will result in discharge after January 1, 2019.

We can provide a medical release when a new physician has been found. Due to the overwhelmingly thorough research of science based findings there is a plethora of evidence supporting the positive impact vaccines have on children.

As per Dr. Azmeh's professional advice, along with the CDC and WHO (World Health Organization), we strongly discourage any parent from withholding vaccines that will undoubtedly help their children.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please feel free to ask a staff member.

The responses to the post were overwhelmingly positive, with everyone applauding the doctor for taking a stance on people who are putting other people at risk.

"Our pediatricians office has had the same policy since before we chose them," user InfiniteCasey said. "In fact, that's exactly why we chose them!"

"This is good policy," user UnstableNL. "Why should a physician treat someone who disregards his/her advice? Also why treat someone for something that could've been prevented by vaccination in the first place? I think more practices should follow the example."

"My daughter's pediatrician has all patients sign forms agreeing to vaccinate otherwise she will not take you as a patient," BondJani wrote. "I love it!"

The effects of not vaccinating your kids can last forever, even if you think you're doing them a favor.

"My siblings all came down with whooping cough," one anonymous user wrote. It scarred my lungs and I have yellow stains on my teeth because the high fevers cooked the adult teeth inside my head."

It's sad to think that there are people who would risk their child's life because of uneducated experts that try to fear monger, but I guess that's where we are now.

Do you get your kids vaccinated?
