Portuguese artist Bordalo II (Artur Bordalo) created these stunning animal sculptures out of trash. His sculptures portray animals with the materials that threaten them.

His statues are a message about the effects of pollution on nature. He scavenges material from dumpsters and dumpsites to build massive, lifelike sculptures of wild animals. Although he started out in Portugal, he has traveled to Estonia and the USA to feature his work.
