Three rapidly-spreading fires are currently burning through Northern and Southern California, killing more than 40 people and destroying thousands of properties.

Over the last few days, more than 300,000 residents were forced to evacuate from their homes, many of which have since been engulfed by the flames.

As of Sunday night, the blaze had spread to 85,500 acres and only about 30 percent of it was contained.

Celebrities like Miley Cyrus are among those who lost their Malibu-area homes overnight to the Woolsey Fire, which started Thursday.

Cyrus and her fiancé, actor Liam Hemsworth, have lived in the $2.5 million oceanside abode since 2016. While Hemsworth and her pets were home when the flames spread throughout the property, Cyrus was out of the country.

"Completely devastated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones," Cyrus tweeted. "My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that's all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff's department!  If you are interested in getting involved see next tweet....  Donate $, Time, Supplies. I love you more than ever, Miley."

A source close to the couple told E! News that Cyrus is "so thankful her horses and her pets are all out, but she is taking the loss very hard right now and feeling helpless since she is not close to home."

They added that the loss has brought the couple even closer, and even though they aren't physically together, "they've been leaning on each other for support and constantly telling each other how grateful they are for each other."

Cyrus also used her platform to ask her followers to help with the wildfire relief efforts and shared aid options, including the American Red Cross, United Way Los Angeles, and The California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund.

TMZ reported that Hemsworth and his brother Luke have since returned to visit what's left of the torched house.

Other celebrities, like Gerard Butler, Neil Young, Robin Thicke, Camille Grammer, Shannen Doherty have also lost their homes.

Butler shared a photo of the fire's aftermath, revealing what's left of his burned-down property, and reminding his fans that the firefighters need support.

"Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating," the P.S. I Love You actor tweeted. "Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LAFD. If you can, support these brave men and women at http://SupportLAFD.org."

We're glad Cyrus, Hemsworth and their pets are all safe! Our thoughts are with all those who are affected by these devastating fires.
