Watch: Queen And Adam Lambert Rocked The Oscars

If there were two words on everyone's lips at last night's Academy Awards ceremony, they were "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The rock biopic of Queen singer Freddie Mercury took home four of the five awards it was nominated for, including one for Rami Malek's brilliant performance as the late rock star.

Queen, and their music, were an important part of the show from its opening moments, as American Idol singer Adam Lambert joined the surviving members on stage for a medley of their biggest hits.

The crowd of celebrities were on their feet for "We Will Rock You," and sang along with Lambert to "We Are The Champions."

The fact that the performance was among the night's best - even as Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed "Shallow" - speaks to the lasting legacy of Queen's music.

It was also an energetic way to kick off the show without a monologue from the host, since the ceremony chose to scrap its emcee altogether following the controversy with Kevin Hart.

What did you think of Queen's rocking show opener? Were you glad to see Bohemian Rhapsody take home four Oscars?
