The Car Seat Photo No Mom Should Have To Take

<div><p>Sarah Walton did something no mom should ever have to do. </p><p>Bury her child. </p><p>Little Ellie was only five months old when she diagnosed with a brain tumor 1/3 the size of her head. She had to undergo 28 rounds of chemotherapy and 17 surgeries, but unfortunately Ellie lost her battle to cancer at just 4 years old. </p><p>Her family says she is 'Forever4.'</p><p>Sarah Walton took to Facebook two months after Ellie's death to share a heartbreaking photo of Ellie's (temporary urn) buckled into her car seat for one last time. </p><div><amp-facebook data-href="https://www.facebook.com/PrayersForEllieWalton/photos/a.334444630029149.1073741841.254390001367946/903255949814678/?type=3&amp;theater" layout="responsive" height="600" width="640"></amp-facebook></div><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>I'll give you a couple minutes to grab some Kleenex after that one...</p><p>The photo has received incredible response, all of it either supporting Sarah Walton and her family, or sharing their own similar experiences and how they coped with the loss. </p><p>If nothing else, this post is bringing to light that only a shocking 4% of all cancer funding going towards pediatric cancers like Ellie had. There were no trials, drugs, or treatments that were able to help save Ellie's life. </p><p>Sarah Walton ends her post with ""This will change baby girl, I will make it change. I never want another mom to feel this way, and I will fight for these other kids so that no other mom has to buckle in ashes of their babies.
