The NYPD Has A New Purr-trol Officer

<div><p>When Martin was just a tiny kitten, he was abandoned at a Brooklyn police station. </p><p>Lonely and afraid, Martin needed a new home. The officers were persistent and eventually convinced their boss to keep Martin at the station as a new purr-trol officer. </p><p>"All I know is I'm an animal person and the cops approached me about keeping him," Deputy Inspector William Taylor told <a href="http://www.brooklynpaper.com/stories/40/9/bn-martin-the-60-precinct-cat-2017-03-03-bk.html">Brooklyn Paper</a>. He's like a dog," Sergeant Raj Lalwani <a href="http://nypost.com/2017/02/26/this-kitten-is-the-nypds-friskiest-officer/">said</a>. "You call hi and he'll come.
