Tommy Lee's Feud With His Son Gets Uglier As He Responds To Father's Day "Tribute"

While most people like to keep their family problems a private matter, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee isn't afraid to air out his dirty laundry.

A truly controversial figure, Tommy has been in a public feud with his 21-year-old son since March, and while we all thought their conflict had died down, it fired right back up again, just in time for Father's Day.

The Assault

The public first became aware of their rift in March when police responded to a call to Tommy's house in Calabasas about a physical altercation.

The drummer had accused his son of punching him in the face before fleeing the residence.

"My fiancé and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me. I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT'S the truth," Tommy tweeted.

Hours later he posted a picture of his busted lip along with a scathing caption directed at his son.

"My heart is broken," he wrote in his now deleted tweet. "You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon. Great son!"

However, Brandon insisted the conflict only erupted after he attempted to stage an intervention for his father.

"I'm devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father's alcoholism," he wrote in a statement.

"I've worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it's incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition. I wanted my dad's hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out," he continued.

Although Tommy originally planned on pressing charges against his son, after a brief investigation, authorities decided against it.

Father's Day Video

Even though things quieted down for this estranged family, more drama emerged when Tommy decided to post a tribute to himself on Father's Day.

"Happy Father's Day fellas! I'm not gonna sit here and post some fluffed up bulls"” for the public to read.... I'm gonna be honest- Being a father ain't easy!" he wrote on Instagram. "I'm so tired of the fake s"” I keep seeing all over IG... let's get real: It's a rollercoaster ok."

"Sometimes I feel like I failed as a father, because my kids don't know the value of things," he claimed. "If they break something, they don't care because they know they'll just get a new one, if they hurt someone, they don't care because so many people tell them it's OK. I never wanted this for my kids."

"I know I'm not fully to blame, because their mom has a lot to do with it, enabling bad behavior and buying them things when they weren't good, but I guess I hoped at the end of the day they would end up kind," the rocker added.

I love them dearly, don't get me wrong, but man, sometimes it's really tough to watch your kids grow up without those morals. Nothing can really prepare you for fatherhood .... I love my boys but they can be a"”"”- too...and that's the truth (Cue Honest Guy music)," he concluded.

While this post on social media may have seemed harmless to the public, Brandon didn't take it that way.

"Remember what happened last time you said this s"”? 🤔 night night 😴"  Brandon wrote on his own Instagram post. "You gotta show up to be a Dad big guy. If you think we're so bad (which I can assure you we are not) then you should have showed up to a few more BDays and baseball games. Someone like you couldn't raise a man like me."

He continued: "Once again painting our family in a negative light. Who the f"” are you? Just move on dude... WE ALL HAVE. ✌🏼or I'll put you right back to f"”"” sleep 😴"

While some may deem Brandon's response as harsh enough, it was only the tip of the iceberg.

A few hours later Tommy's oldest son posted a video of his father seemingly passed out , and captioned it: "Look a little sleepy there Tommy. 😴"

However, Brandon seemed to have a change of heart and eventually took the clip down and told his fans he would keep his relationship with his father private.

"Sorry for the noise everyone. Hopefully this is the end," the model wrote.

"Tommy. If you want to bad mouth me, do it to my face. You post something for the world to see, saying that I'm a bad kid and my mom is a bad mother, what do you expect? Seriously, who's the fkn adult here?" he continued.

"How would you even know if I'm a bad kid, you're not even around enough to know what kind of a person I am," he added. "I understand that your feelings must be hurt still about how things went down. But please stop posting all of this on social media, it's making us all act like kids. Let's just drop it dude."

"You're mad I didn't say Happy Father's Day to you?? So what?! My birthday was on June 5th motherf"”er ... I didn't hear s"” from you ... and I didn't go telling the world what a let down you are. Come on man. It's time to move on. Let's keep this private," he wrapped up the post.

Sadly, Tommy didn't take his son's "peace offering" and proceeded to go on another rant of his own.

Tommy's Response

On Tuesday, Tommy took to Twitter and revealed he had spend thousands of dollars on his son, including $140,000 for his trip to rehab. Before he wrote the tweet, it wasn't public knowledge Brandon had any problems with addiction.

"Rehab for son: $130,000," he tweeted.

Party for son's 21st birthday last year: $40,000

"Medical Bills after son knocks his father unconscious and uses "alcoholism" as scapegoat: $10,000."

"Son acting like a victim on social media on father's day: Priceless."

"I'm out [mic] drop!"

But even though Tommy had ruthlessly called out his son, Brand only shared a classy response.

"I thank my Dad for paying for my treatment. It's the best thing he has ever done for me. Today I am almost two years sober," Brandon explained. "Every day that goes by I feel ever more grateful. My clear mind has allowed me to do a lot with this time. So much so that I would like to offer to pay for his treatment."

It turns out Tommy and Dylan aren't the only ones who have a poor relationship. Just check out these heart-wrenching rifts:
