America Ferrera, known for her roles in television shows and films like Ugly Betty and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, took fans by surprise last New Year's Eve.
The actress and her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, revealed they had their first child on the way in an adorable Instagram post.
She posted a photo in which she's posing alongside her husband wearing goofy "2018" glasses and holding up a onesie.
"We're welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018!" read the caption.
Ferrera and Williams first met when Williams cast the Emmy-winning actress in his student film at the University of Southern California.
They dated for a few years before getting engaged in 2010.
"We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other," Ferrera told People. She added that they have "a shared passion for what we do and our work."
The Emmy-winner and Williams finally tied the knot in 2011 in "an intimate setting amongst close friends and family."
Her former co-stars, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn and Vanessa Williams, all showed up for their big day.
A few years later, Ferrera and some of her Ugly Betty co-stars reunited for another special occasion: her baby shower at Beauty & Essex Los Angeles.
"No poopie diaper games here. Just dancing, drinking (water for me 🤗), and some of the people we love to celebrate the little human we can't wait to meet," Ferrera wrote in the caption of photos from the party on Instagram.
The celebration continued the following month, but this time with was with her Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants co-stars. They also had some important childbirth and motherhood advice with the mom-to-be.
"They all were like, "˜get the drugs,' " Ferrera, 33, told People. "So we'll see if I do. But I think it's a very sound piece of advice."
Lively, Bledel, and Tamblyn have all been moms for a while now, and now Ferrera has joined the club.
Nearly seven years after saying "I do," Ferrera and Williams once again took to Instagram to announce that they have welcomed their first child.
"When 2 becomes 3 ... Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams "“ aka Baz! Mom, Dad and Baby are happy, healthy and totally in love!" Ferrera captioned a sweet photo of her newborn son's toes.
Ferrera's A-list followers were quick to comment and congratulate her and Williams on their new arrival.
"He is the most divine thing I've ever held in my arms. I love you," wrote Tamblyn.
"Welcome to the world little one!! Congrats America & Ryan," commented Reese Witherspoon.
Ferrera is just the lastest celebrity to welcome a baby in the last few weeks.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John Legend became a family of four with the birth of their baby boy, Miles Theodore Stephens, on May 17.
"Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens - We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles," Teigen wrote in the caption of a picture showing the baby sleeping. "Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!"
Legend later explained that their son is named after "the great Miles Davis."
"Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together as Miles Theodore Stephens," he told E!. "When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while we were like, 'Yeah, he looks like a Miles.'"
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria
30 Rock star Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, also welcomed a son named Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin this month.
"He's here! He's perfect! 8lbs 2oz 💛 #wegotthis2018," Hilaria captioned an adorable photo of her and Alec looking smitten with their newborn.
Little Romeo joins his siblings Leonardo íngel Charles, 1, Rafael Thomas, 2, and Carmen Gabriela, 4. Alec, 60, is also the father of 22-year-old Ireland Baldwin, who he shares with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Kevin McKidd and Arielle Goldrath
May has also been a special month for Grey's Anatomy actor Kevin McKidd and his new wife, Arielle Goldrath. Their first son together, Aiden, was born on Mother's Day.
"On this beautiful Mother's Day evening... Welcome- little Aiden to our family and to the World!" McKidd captioned the black-and-white photo of wife cuddling the swaddled baby. "Arielle, you're the most amazing mother and I love you both so much! #happymothersday #forever #weeAiden #Arielle #newlife."
Baby Aiden joins McKidd's son and daughter from his previous marriage, Joseph, 17, and Iona, 15.
Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah
Six months after announcing their secret marriage, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and her husband became first-time parents to a son named Dana Isaiah Jr., also known as DJ.
There were a few complications during his birth, after the umbilical cord got wrapped around his neck, but the midwife quickly came to the rescue.
"It was just this incredibly miraculous, beautiful moment that I don't know could ever be duplicated," said Sparks, who attended the premiere of her movie just three days after giving birth. "You see in movies how emotional people get, but until you are actually sitting there ... it's beyond anything I've ever felt in my life."
Kristen Dunst and Jesse Plemmons
The actor couple is notoriously private, so they have kept all details of their newborn baby under wraps.
Dunst showed off her baby bump when she appeared in Rodarte's 2018 Lookbook earlier in the year, but she hasn't commented on her journey into motherhood.
However sources close to the couple have confirmed that they welcomed "a healthy baby boy" over the weekend of May 12.
"Everybody is doing great," added the source.
