Vet Got Too Close To April The Giraffe's Baby, Learns A Painful Lesson

<div><p>April the Giraffe finally gave birth to a healthy calf after what felt like an eternity. </p><p>The new calf came into the world two months after its due date as millions watched on through Animal Adventure Park's live stream. &nbsp;</p><p>Despite being constantly prodded and checked-on, April remained calm throughout the entire pregnancy and labor but everything changed once the baby arrived. </p><p>The giraffe's maternal instincts were in high gear just two days after she gave birth and she wasn't afraid to do what was needed to keep her newborn safe. </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>April got very territorial after a vet got a little too close to the baby during feeding. She gave the vet a little reminder that he won't soon forget - a few kicks to the family jewels.</p><p>You can see how it all went down in the clip below:</p><amp-iframe sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin" layout="responsive" frameborder="0" height="9" width="16" src="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/embed/video/1448563.html?referer=shared"></amp-iframe><p>The zoo later assured viewers through a<a href="https://www.facebook.com/AnimalAdventurePark"> Facebook update</a> that the vet sustained no injuries.</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>"Yesterday many of you noticed the "˜giraffe cha-cha' where April was trying to step on the toes of our vet, and more or less she was telling him she was done with his advances," wrote April's keepers. </p><p>"Later on that led to just a small little kick with the front leg but don't worry, the vet was not struck, he was totally fine."</p><p>Why do you think April kicked the vet?
