Get A Wendy's Frosty For 50 Cents All Summer Long

Besides having better replies than any other business on Twitter, Wendy's is ready to knock the competition out of the water once again by offering fans a way to beat the heat without hurting their wallet.

While people are lining up for trendy treats such as the very Instagrammable charcoal ice cream and restaurants like Dairy Queen are adding a new lineup of flavors to their Blizzard menu, the "fresh, never frozen" fast food experts are going back to the basics with the Frosty.

This summer Wendy's is making it easy to cool down on those hot and humid days with their latest money-saving deal on their signature ice cream-meets-milkshake frozen treat.

A small Frosty typically costs $1 but for the next few weeks you can get it for even cheaper and you don't need any coupons or secret codes to score one.

Wendy's recently announced that they will be offering their beloved Frosty for 50 cents all summer long at participating locations.

The fast food chain's offer includes both the vanilla and chocolate flavors reports Brand Eating. There is no end date for this sweet deal, but it is expected to be in effect until the end of the season.

In addition to the discounted small Frosty, Wendy's also launched a sweepstakes that will reward winners with free movie tickets. All you need to do is share a selfie with a 50ยข Frosty on Twitter along with the contest hashtags to enter for a chance to win. You can get more details here.

If you prefer to sip rather than scoop your ice cream then you might want to look to one of Wendy's biggest competitors for a brand new milkshake that will transport you back to your younger days.

Burger King introduced a new milkshake inspired by Lucky Charms cereal and it sounds perfect. According to Burger King North America president Alex Macedo, the shake is a mashup of the chain's "velvety vanilla- flavored soft serve and one of America's classic breakfast cereals."

The shake features sweet syrup, Lucy Charms oat cereal, marshmallows and vanilla soft serve and is available for $2.99 at participating locations.

This isn't Burger King's first foray into cereal inspired milkshakes. Back in April, they launched a Froot Loops flavored milkshake nationwide and it has gained widespread popularity since.
