Despite having two failed marriages under her belt, Kim decided third time's the charm when she accepted Kanye's extravagant proposal.

"We were on our way to an event at an Indian casino 45 minutes out of town in a limousine, and David wanted to stop for some reason that I didn't quite get," Neil said in an interview with Out.

"I thought he wanted to get some booze or something. And then he got on one knee and proposed, and I was so freaked out by it that I said, 'Yes,' but I didn't know what it meant. Then I got the ring and loved it, and a year later, on Valentine's Day, I proposed to him in Santa Monica," he added.

While we all knew that Pink is one of the world's best role-models, but did you know she also reversed traditional gender roles by proposing to her husband?

Pink was attending one of Carey Hart's motocross races where she held up a sign that said "Will you marry me?" Carey didn't see it during his first lap, but during his second, the "Raise Your Glass" singer held up another one with the words "I'm Serious!"

He quickly pulled over and kissed his future wife, giving her all the affirmation she need, and like they say, the rest was history.

6. Amal (Alamuddin) Clooney and George Clooney

Without a doubt, George and Amal Clooney are nothing less than soulmates. But like their first meeting, George faced some hijinks when he was about to propose.

He invited the human rights lawyer over for a candlelight dinner with his aunt Rosemary Clooney's song "Why Shouldn't I" playing in the background. When Amal saw the ring, she was overcome with shock.

"I got down on my knee and said, 'I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life without you.' And she kept looking at the ring, and she was looking at me, and she was like, 'Oh, my God,'" Clooney said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "And we now know, because there was a playlist, how long it actually took, and it was, like, 25 minutes."

7. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw

Known as one of country music's "it" couples, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have stood the test of time, and it all started when the "It's Your Love" singer decided to propose to Faith in a trailer while they were performing at the Taste of Country Festival.

"It was rainy and stuff and we'd been on tour for a while together," McGraw said in a video clip. "I'd joked around with her about getting married, and so ... I looked at her, I grabbed her by the hands before I went onstage. She had already done her show. And I said, 'I'm really serious. I want you to marry me.'"

"She laughed and she said, 'We're at a country music festival in a trailer house and you're asking me to marry you?' And I said, 'Yeah.' So I went onstage," the country star continued.

Tim found out the "Speak to a Girl" singer said yes when he returned to his trailer and saw "Yes, I'm going to be your wife" written in marker on his mirror, surrounded by several kiss marks.

8. Kate Middleton and Prince William

When Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton, he couldn't predict how wonderful their life together would be, but he did know he wanted to start it off on the right foot.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on vacation in Kenya when he decided to pop the question with his mother's sapphire engagement ring.

"He's a true romantic and we had a wonderful holiday in Africa and it was out there in a very quiet lodge and it was very romantic and it was very personal time for both of us," Kate explained to reporters.

"I didn't really plan it that far in advance," he later said in an interview with CNN. "I just knew I wanted it to feel comfortable where I did it and I wanted it to mean something, other than just the act of getting engaged. She understands what it means to me being in Africa, and my love of conservation."

9. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey

Before they were even married, Nick Cannon knew Mariah Carey never accepted anything less than extravagant.

While they're no longer husband and wife, Nick decided to propose to the "You Belong With Me" singer on two separate occasions. For the first proposal, Nick took Mariah to the rooftop of her Manhattan apartment and popped the question with a 17-carat diamond ring placed inside a ring pop.

"They've been calling me Cinderella since I first started out," Mariah told PEOPLE. "Most people would think, Okay, please! This doesn't happen in real life."

It was only a few days later when Nick "kidnapped" Mariah to take her on a helicopter ride, where he bent down on one knee yet again.

10. Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller

While Seth Rogen originally made elaborate plans to propose to Lauren Miller, his nerves got the best of him and his rational decision-making went out the window - along with a picture perfect engagement story.

"So I had all these plans but like the day I got the ring, literally the second I got it, I walked right upstairs to where she was to propose to her," Rogen said on Conan.

"But she was in our closet changing and she was literally only in her underwear and her boobs were out," the Knocked Up actor said. "And I had already kind of started, I was like "˜Oh man, her boobs are out, that's not part of the plan. I didn't picture it like this and I know she didn't picture it like this.' No little girl is like "˜It'll happen in a closet with my titties out."

"I figured the only appropriate thing was to place the ring on her nipple," he added.
