<div><p>Have you ever been out in the woods and seen a purple fence post? If you have, you should probably stay away. </p><p>These fences are most often found in heavily wooded areas or back-country spots. They signify private property and are considered a visual "No Trespassing" sign. </p><p>The purple fence is meant to keep wanderers and hunters off private property, and are actually considered law in a lot of states. </p><p>"The reason the Texas legislature did that is they were trying to keep landowners from constantly having to replace signs.
